Yesterday, Katalysen portfolio venture Edger Finance won Best Enterprise Solution, awarded by Handelsbanken, at the IBM fintechx demo day hosted at IBM's Stockholm innovation hub.
IBM fintechx is a 10-week program to accelerate the use of generative AI within financial services. Six European fintechs have co-created with IBM coaches to build new generative AI feature MVPs that enrich their existing solutions. Participants included financial services decision-makers, in line of business or technology, and investors looking to learn more about the latest applications of this technology, find fintech partnerships or investment opportunities.
Edger Finance presented how they are currently leveraging generative AI and watsonx to create brand new public market data for Europe, in a race to catch up with U.S. public markets and drive more financing towards small- and mid-cap companies.
