You may have noticed that Katalysen has put on a new suit, heavily inspired by role as a catalyst for opportunities and success in the early-stage innovation ecosystem. Our co-developer partners at Gärde Design, led by Marcus Gärde, have done an exceptional job at capturing the essence of Katalysen. To see the result of this transformation, make sure to visit www.katalysen.com!
It is inspiring to see Gärde Design embrace a venture developer model, to unlock their own experience and expertise for the early-stage innovation- and startup-ecosystem. We highly recommend reaching out to them if you are looking for a partner that understands both the challenges and amazing opportunities involved in building memorable brands in early-stages.
Commenting on the change, Katalysen COO Tobias Mathiasen noted: “Much has changed over the last two years, including our approach to venture development. While we previously aimed to accumulate niche, specialist expertise in house, we have transformed into a smaller but more experienced team that collaborates with sector leading partners to co-develop ventures. Not only does this enable a more lean and nimble Katalysen, but it also unlocks absolute top level specialist for our portfolio, specialists that we naturally could never hire in house. To reflect this upgrade, our website and brand needed a complete overhaul on a platform that is future proof.
As a way to showcase our fantastic co-developer network, we decided to enlist the expertise of our partner Gärde Design, who historically have helped develop some of Sweden’s largest brands, and now (as a venture developer) lent us their expertise. The result was a new brand that encapsulates us, Katalysen, as a strong catalyst for entrepreneurial success, with a future-proof website to go along with it. This ‘new’ Katalysen very much feels like ‘us’, above all experienced venture developers who love to create value by bringing fantastic people, ideas, and resources together in flourishing partnerships. I believe that this ‘new’ Katalysen is here to stay for the long run. Amazing work, Marcus Gärde and Christoffer Granström!”
